Copley Square Hotel is a boutique hotel situated in the Back Bay neighborhood of Boston. With over 140 rooms, it’s not exactly a tiny property, but it’s still decorated in a unique way giving the hotel that boutique look. Also a restaurant and fancy nightclub are located within the hotel’s premises.
What people who stayed here liked about
Convenient location – As with pretty much any hotel located in the Back Bay area, also this property was praised for its location. The Copley Square is a stone throw’s away, so is the Back Bay commuter rail/subway station, so it’s easy to arrive at this location!
Clean rooms – Countless of people said the rooms are clean – if bit small. There are also rooms with two double beds available, a useful yet sadly uncommon feature.
Friendly staff – While pretty much all the top hotels have professional and friendly staff, also in almost every review of this boutique hotel it was noted how great the workers at reception were.
Free wine – There is a free glass of wine available in the evenings in the hotel bar.
What people who stayed here didn’t like
Room amenities – Even though the rooms were clean, they lacked a fridge and tea/coffee maker. Some people listed this as negative, and for understandable reasons. So have great food at the hotel’s restaurant and pay for it!
Nightclub can cause noise – I’ve seen some people say that the music from nightclub can be heard at least on the second floor of this hotel, even on weekdays. The club seems to be open until 2AM. It’s recommended to ask for a room in the upper floors if you’re sensitive to noise (or try earplugs, they might help).
Breakfast not included – Few people criticized the hotel not including breakfast although the price of this property is rather high.
Fastest way to get to downtown
Back Bay Station, take orange line to Haymarket. It won’t take more than 15 minutes all in all.
