This boutique hotel is known for its location right next to Boston Common. Just 500 feet away, the park gives a refreshing break from the city’s bustling life. With over 300 rooms the accommodation is rather big, rest assured it’s still a boutique hotel in a redesigned building.
What people who stayed here liked about
Comfortable beds – This important detail was brought up in many reviews. Folks said they could rest and sleep well in this hotel, thanks to comfortable (not too soft, not too hard, just perfect) beds.
Great staff – There were no problem with the staff, according to many people who’ve recently stayed in this property. It’s easily understandable since the competition is tough, you can not afford mistakes in this business.
City nature nearby – Guests liked the hotel’s location next to the Boston Common central park.
Gym – The fitness center includes treadmills and elliptical trainers, although don’t expect an “old-school” free weights collection here.
What people who stayed here didn’t like
Pool – The hotel has a pool, but some people said it’s strange, for example no changing rooms in the pool area. They also criticized it being busy, hardly finding place to swim in the crowded pool. Another adjectives to describe this area were “depressive” and “small”.
Might be noisy – In this hotel, there are rooms whose windows give to the terrace/bar area, and naturally it can get quite noisy. So if you’re a light sleeper, bring earplugs or ask for a new room. In addition, the air conditioning unit in rooms can disturb sleep, although this is only a problem in the summer months.
Breakfast – The choice of breakfast was limited in some people’s opinion.
